About the Position

Anglicare’s Logan-based Community Aged & Disability team is key in providing care and support to a range of clients, throughout the region. We work with people to explore new options, open doors and create solutions that enable people to live well in their own homes. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated full time Administration Officer to support the team and provide quality operational administration. The role is responsible for maintaining an efficient and customer focused Reception for internal and external clients, other visitors and service providers; processing admissions and discharges of clients; and promoting and contributing to a positive team environment within the Services.

 

About You

We’re looking for a dynamic individual with strong administration skills capable of anticipating and managing the requirements of a busy service effectively.  Requirements include:

  • Database management and updating our client information system with accurate, error-free data entry
  • Reception duties including phone calls and greeting visitors in a polite, professional and friendly manner
  • Experience in accounts and invoicing preparation and the ability to provide backup to payroll functions
  • Preparation of admissions forms & documentation, general correspondence, administration and filing
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook

Previous experience in the Community Aged & Disability sector would be advantageous, but more importantly will be your ability to learn new systems and operating procedures quickly and accurately.

You will be required to hold a National Police Certificate, a current Blue Card (Working with Children) with Yellow Card exemption and a Queensland Driver Licence. A Certificate in Business Administration or similar would be well received.
