About the Position

Anglicare supports all kinds of people who may be impacted by mental health and wellbeing challenges, from new parents, children transitioning through school, people planning retirement and everything in between. We are here to provide the support needed at home or out in the community, for people to live the life they want.

Our Brisbane North Mental Health & Wellbeing service is looking for a full time Administration Officer to support the team and provide quality operational administration support to the offices at Strathpine, Stafford and Clontarf. The Administration Officer is responsible for maintaining an efficient and customer focused Reception for internal and external clients, other visitors and service providers; processing admissions and discharges of clients; and promoting and contributing to a positive team environment within the Service. Flexibility is required, as there will be the need to work until 8.00pm on occasion.

 

About You

We’re looking for a dynamic individual with strong administration skills capable of anticipating and managing the requirements of a busy service effectively.   Requirements include:

  • Database management and updating our client information system with accurate, error-free data entry
  • Reception duties including phone calls and greeting visitors in a polite, professional and friendly manner
  • General correspondence, administration and filing - both electronic and paper
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience balancing Petty Cash is essential and knowledge of invoicing would be advantageous

You will be required to hold a National Police Certificate, a current Blue Card (Working with Children) with Yellow Card exemption and a Queensland Driver Licence. A Certificate in Business Administration or similar would be well received.
