About the Position

Anglicare SQ is one of Queensland’s most experienced community service providers, and over the years our offering has evolved under different banners, and expanded greatly to include “all of life” services. Our range of supports is ever-increasing and are delivered in partnership with government and other organisations. To continue these essential services, Anglicare require the support of a dedicated Corporate Services team, which incorporates Strategy & Transformation. We are currently looking for a full time Coordinator - Business Development, to join our team in Brisbane’s CBD.

The Coordinator - Business Development will assist the Director - Strategy & Transformation to support and achieve the organisations longer term strategic objectives including a sustainable market position, revenue growth in identified areas, and development of new and existing services. The role is responsible for gathering, analysing, managing information and coordinating business development functions for tendering and approved strategic projects.

 

About You

With an established career in Business Development or Sales, you will be enthusiastic about looking for your next exciting and challenging role, and will offer the following skill set:

  • Proven background in researching and analysing market trends and business opportunities, including identifying areas for growth
  • Effective coordination and preparation of business development proposals and submissions
  • Producing strong, accurate and relevant tender documents and grant applications relevant to Anglicare services
  • Strong experience in project management processes - systems, communications and reporting functions
  • Understanding of policy and reform agendas in social service areas including market and industry trends, new services and products
  • Previous stakeholder engagement and company representation

Along with a “can do” attitude and results-driven focus, your personal attributes will include:

  • Strong rapport building capacity and the professionalism to maintain effective working relationships at all organisational and stakeholder levels
  • Self-management with the capacity to work within deadlines and balance your own workflow
  • The knowledge to manage, delegate or escalate matters as required
  • Ability to utilise your initiative to make decisions and problem solve; exercise discretion and professional judgement
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint

You will be required to hold a degree in Health, Business, Community Care or a similar field and postgraduate qualifications are desired. A current Queensland Driver Licence and National Police Certificate are also necessary.
