About the Position

Our Home Maintenance and Modification service enables older people and those with a disability access to practical housing-related assistance, enabling them to maintain their independence in their own homes. The service offers free information and referrals about home maintenance, falls prevention, repairs, minor and complex major modifications and home security.

We are currently looking for a full time Administration Officer to support the team in Woolloongabba, and provide quality operational administration support. The role is responsible for maintaining an efficient and customer focused Reception for internal and external clients, other visitors and service providers; processing admissions and discharges of clients; and promoting and contributing to a positive team environment within the Services.

 

About You

We’re looking for a dynamic worker with strong administration skills and a “can do” attitude. Further experience will include:

  • Assisting clients with home maintenance and modification requests
  • Processing My Aged Care and Occupational Therapist referrals
  • Database management and updating our client information system with accurate, error-free data entry
  • Reception duties including phone calls and greeting visitors in a polite, professional and friendly manner
  • Preparation of admissions forms & documentation, general correspondence, administration and filing
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CRMs / databases

To be successful you will be required to hold a National Police Certificate and a Queensland Driver Licence. A Certificate III in Business Administration would be beneficial.
