About the Position

Anglicare’s Community Aged & Disability team in Roma provide support and services that enable our clients to maintain their independence - living happily and healthily within their own homes. We recognise that one size does not fit all, and working together is the key to great outcomes. Our non-clinical lifestyle programs are designed to support individual needs, incorporating the principles of social inclusion, choice and control, enablement, empowerment and independence; and our clinical supports include nursing and allied health care at home, along with domestic and personal assistance.

We are currently looking for a part time Enrolled Nurse to join us, working a minimum 10 hours per week. Servicing a dedicated area in the Roma region, our Enrolled Nurses are encouraged to achieve goals and offered continuous professional development, backed by an empowering management team. The overall purpose is to deliver individualised, quality, planned care that meets the needs of clients/carers in their home environment, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

 

About You

To become a member of this small, collaborative team, you must offer the following:

  • A background of nursing within the Community, Aged Care or Disability sectors
  • Assessment and implementation of individual nursing care plans for clients
  • Active participation in clinical practice including case conferencing and other forums
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and common law practice relating to enrolled nursing
  • Effective and time sensitive reporting and documentation
  • Dedication to continuous quality improvement and high care standards

Your qualifications will include:

  • Current AHPRA registration and Practicing Certificate
  • Ability to commit to permanent, part time hours on a 24/7 roster
  • A current Queensland Driver Licence
  • A National Police Certificate
